In his years as quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers (1970 - 1983), the team won eight AFC Central championships. After his retirement, Terry expanded his career to include singing, writing, and acting. In 1999, he was diagnosed with depression. Terry remains an advocate for those diagnosed with the condition.
