Star Accused of Faking Rescue At Sea

Written By Tim Robin on Tuesday 11 October 2011 | 02:32

Star accused of faking rescue at sea- Bethenny Frankel recently survived a hellish scenario: last month the Bravo reality star and her husband chartered a sailboat and got lost at sea for 20 terrifying hours. Or did they??? The guy who came to the rescue tells The Jewish Journal that the group which included Frankel's therapist and a Bravo camera team scripted the situation for the sake of drama. According to Tim Russell, who was called out to Frankel's "capsized" boat in the wee hours of the morning, there was hardly any danger to report in the waters off Nantucket. Writes Ilana Angel:

When Tim got there, he saw the boat was fine. There were 9 people on the boat. Bethenny, Jason, the therapist and a Bravo film crew of 6. They did not need a tow as the boat was fine. They simply followed Tim and his wife back to the shore with no towing and a functioning GPS.
