Dog Survives Hit By Car- While arresting a naked couple spotted running nude on the side of the road, Georgia police were startled when the couple revealed they had given LSD to "Oscar." It turns out Oscar is a Dachshund hit by a car. Thankfully, he survived.
The couple in question is now facing drug charges, having fled the scene of their roadside exposure and answered the police at the door of their home completely naked. Click2Houston reports that animal cruelty charges may be in the cards.
When the two 25-year-old suspects said they'd not only taken LSD themselves, but also gave some to "Oscar," the police didn't know he was a dog. When they did figure out that there was a Dachshund on LSD somewhere in town, they started a search, but did not find him before he was hit by a car.
