Bjork Delays Album Release: Bjork has postponed the release of her album "Biophilia" after reworking a few of the tracks. The singer's latest effort was due to hit shelves on Sept. 27, but she has pushed back the release date after realizing her songs needed "more blood and muscles, oxygen and stuff." She has also decided to include a live performance from her appearance at England's Manchester International Festival earlier this summer. In a post on her website, she writes, "I would like to explain why my album is coming out later than was first intended.
I felt the album had different kinda growth potential and it is important to follow those hunches even though they are slippery and you don't know sometimes where they are taking you. "I played 'Biophilia' for few weeks in Manchester and some of the songs grew while playing them live, and I decided to add some of this into the album, I ended up even using a live recording of one of the songs on the album."
